Caleta port reopened after work completed

Representatives from Vélez-Málaga town hall visited Caleta port last Monday to announce the work to integrate the port with the town had been completed.

The project received an investment of 856,000 euros and was started last year.

The old concrete wall which used to separate the town and port area was knocked down and a new pavement, cycle lane, parking spaces and plants have been introduced.

Patron of Caleta's fishermen's association, María del Carmen Navas, asked the town hall to also improve the area used by the fishermen.
