The Cazbah Live Lounge in Mijas Costa has organised a weekend of concerts to kick off its summer season. Following months of uncertainty due to restrictions enforced to combat the pandemic, the popular live music venue has announced that it will reopen on Friday 28 May, with a concert by Amelinde and The Q Band.
Fronted by charismatic singer Amelinde, the Malaga band, which formed in 2007, performs the hits of Adele, Amy Winehouse, Blondie, The Killers and The Scissor Sisters, among others.
The music will continue on Saturday 29 May with a concert by The Money Makers, one of Malaga's most popular cover bands. Included in the repertoire of this rock outfit are well-known songs of Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Oasis, The Police and the Rolling Stones.
Both concerts will begin at 9pm and tickets cost three euros. Capacity will be restricted at both events and the organisers recommend early arrival (doors open 8pm) to avoid disappointment.
The venue will present more events throughout the summer, details of which will appear on its Facebook page.
