Famous Pamplona bull-running festival called off

The world-famous San Fermín festival in Pamplona, northern Spain, which includes the running of the bulls, has been called off due to Covid-19.

It is the first time since 1938 in the Spanish Civil War that the July event has been cancelled before starting.

Seville's huge Feria de Abril, due to start on 29 April, was also called off this week.
