Malaga's mayor, Francisco de la Torre, celebrates his 80th birthday

The mayor of Malaga, Francisco del la Torre, celebrated his eightieth birthday at the Málaga Palacio hotel on Wednesday. The lunchtime party was attended by councillors and co-workers who gave him two books and some earplugs for when he goes swimming. He thanked everyone and said he felt "full of energy and very motivated, ready to continue doing my best for my city."
