Guardia Civil officers are investigating the death of a 41-year-old Belgian man whose body was found at a property in the town of Alhaurín el Grande, in Malaga provice. The body of the victim had suffered several bullet wounds, suggesting it was a crime, according to sources.
The discovery was made in the early hours of this Friday morning, 3 December, after a woman close to the deceased - it has not been possible to confirm whether she was a friend or a relative - called 112 Andalucía from Belgium to alert that she had not been able to contact the man for several days and was concerned.
The 112 emergency service control room mobilised both the Guardia Civil and firefighters, in case it was necessary to break down the door of the house, located in the Cucazorra area.
The assistance of the fire brigade was not required and when police officers entered the property they discovered the body of the victim, with signs of several bullet wounds. After the body was removed from the house it was transferred to a hospital for radiological tests and later to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Malaga, where an autopsy will be performed.
