Sabinillas market back on Sunday after being closed over cleaning

Mayor of Manilva, Mario Jiménez, and councillors have said this week that the Sunday street market in Sabinillas will go ahead as usual on 3 March.

The market had been suspended last week after serious cleaning and hygiene issues attracted complaints from numerous residents.

Jiménez said that "repeatedly over the last few months" large quantities of goods and rubbish have been left behind despite the owners being repeatedly warned.
