Mijas Pueblo to get new hotel in historic centre
A house dating from 1840 on the Plaza de la Constitución will be redeveloped at a cost of 354,000 euros

A small aparthotel is to be opened in the centre of Mijas Pueblo.
According to planning councillor, Andrés Ruiz, a house dating from 1840 on the Plaza de la Constitución, in the heart of the village, will be redeveloped at a cost of 354,000 euros.
It will include four apartments, a private residence and two shops. The news comes alongside reports of good hotel occupancy in Mijas.
Owners claimed they were 89 per cent full in July, above the Costa average.
