The English Cemetery in Malaga, or the Protestant Cemetery as it is sometimes known, was not reserved only for English people or for Protestants.
It is in fact a very fair reflection of the cosmopolitan history of Malaga since the 1830s, with Germans buried alongside Finns, and Jewish graves overlooking the plot reserved for Roman Catholics.
It is situated in Avenida de Príes, not far from the bullring, and is maintained as a historic monument and garden by the Fundación Cementerio Inglés de Málaga.
