Striking workers block roads in La Línea

The difficulties are linked to the ongoing protests by metal workers in Cádiz

Spanish metal workers who began an indefinite strike over working conditions this week made it difficult to travel to and from Gibraltar because the town of La Línea became almost completely blocked. The workers closed off the entrance to La Línea from San Roque, causing massive traffic jams as vehicles had to enter via El Higuerón. They also blocked accesses to the hospital.
