Two-time world champion and Olympic bronze medallist figure skater Javier Fernández paid a special visit to the Club de Hielo ice rink in Benalmádena last Friday.

To show that no sports are of off-bounds for people with reduced mobility, Fernández put on a special skating masterclass for the around 100 members of the club, as well as around 20 with varying degrees of mobility from the Fuensocial association.

"I would love to continue doing this sort of thing," said Fernández who was participating in this type of event for the first time. "I believe that the world needs to learn and we need to help those that have difficulties practising sport."
