Last weekend was the turn of the youngsters as a number of local sides, plus the Crusaders from the UK, faced off in the second International Junior Tournament. The tournament, divided into three age groups, was hosted by the Fuengirola Lions at the Santa Fe rink in Los Boliches, Fuengirola.

The Crusaders, who competed at the European championships in the summer, set the bar high. Their 'infantil' team didn't concede a single goal, winning the final against the Fuengirola Lions 4-0.

Third were Sevilla who lost the semifinal to Fuengirola by 9-1 and won the bronze playoff against Sancti Petri.

The Crusaders also won all their games at 'benjamin' level, though the final, against the Lions, was extremely tight. Bronze went to Marbella.

At 'alevin' level, the Lions went through undefeated and finished ahead of Marbella and Sancti Petri.
