Law change could see large-scale investment in Puerto Banús
If the marina's concession holders want to extend the lease until 2067, they must invest 20 per cent of its current valuation within the next four years

A new law change approved by the Junta de Andalucía brings mixed news for the concession holders of the Puerto Banús marina.
On the one hand it will end the uncertainty over the length of the contract, confirmed at 75 years, but that places the end date in 2043.
That, however, can be extended to 99 years (until 2067) if the equivalent of 20 per cent of the marina's current valuation is invested in the next four years.
