Bendodo bows out as head of Malaga's Diputación

The president of Malaga's Diputación, the provincial authority, passed the baton to his number two on Wednesday.

Elías Bendodo is now a key minister in the new Junta and taking over, at least until municipal elections in May, is Francisco Salado, mayor of Rincón de la Victoria.

Bendodo said he was leaving the province "a little bit better" than he found it.
