Grant agreed for fishing mooring at La Duquesa

Manilva council has received a 266,000-euro EU grant via a provincial fishing association to prepare its plan for breakwaters on the beach at La Duquesa.

The aim is to provide more sheltered moorings for local fishing boats that currently have to use the leisure port, as well as ways to trap sand and prevent the beach being eroded.
