Estepona athletics stadium still on track for next year

Estepona's new athletics stadium is still on course to open in the first half of next year, the town hall has said.

So far 60 per cent of the building, which includes 1,000 parking spaces beneath it, has been completed.

The site, near the feria ground and Felipe VI auditorium to the north of the town centre, covers 16,488 square metres. The stadium has been designed to a high specification so as to host official athletics events.
