No tram for Vélez-Málaga this year

Vélez-Málaga's transport councillor and deputy mayor, Marcelino Méndez-Trelles, confirmed on Tuesday that the town's tram, which stopped running in 2012, will not start again this year, despite efforts by the town hall to reinstate it. Méndez-Trelles blamed both the town hall and the Junta de Andalucía for not working hard enough to bring the tram back and said that the latter had shown no interest in starting the service again.
