  • The show will present the greatest hits of Queen and the Electric Light Orchestra

The Teatro Las Lagunas in Mijas Costa will continue its Festival of Legends cycle on Saturday 29 May with a show dedicated to the music of two of the biggest-selling bands of all time.

The night will get going with Queen of Magic, a Malaga band that performs a tribute Freddie Mercury and Queen. The group recreates the unique sound of the mega rock band with hits like Crazy Little Thing Called Love and We Will Rock You.

They will be followed by Elosphera, a group consisting of six established musicians from Seville. The band has gained a large following because of their musicianship and their incredible stage presence, reproducing the Electric Light Orchestra's golden era of the 1970s. Their repertoire includes classic songs like Evil Woman, Mr. Blue Sky, Last Train to London, Don't Bring me Down and Turn to Stone.

This will be the band's first performance in Malaga and it is sure to be a night of nostalgia for fans of ELO, a multi-instrumentalist band that created modern rock and pop songs with classical overtones.

Tickets for the show, which begins at 9pm, cost 18 euros in advance or 20 euros on the night and are available from El Corte Inglés or Rubens. Reservations: 633 647 260.
