Fuengirola's international parade cancelled due to weather forecast

Fuengirola town hall has cancelled the international parade that is an annual highlight of the Feria Internacional de los Pueblos (FIP), due to the rain forecast for Saturday.

The parade, in which around 800 representatives of the many nationalities resident in the town take part, was due to take place at 11.30am.

Nevertheless the council has stressed that the FIP remains open as planned throughout the weekend and the holiday Monday.

This year 32 countries and regions are participating in the event on the Fuengirola fairground.
