Manuel Pellegrini presented as new Real Betis coach

Former Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini was officially presented as the man to lead the new project at Real Betis on Monday.

The Chilean's appointment was announced after the Seville-based team sealed their place in La Liga for another season with a 3-0 win over Osasuna last week. He said: "It's a great group of players. The objective is to fight to be in Europe."

Martín Demichelis, who played under Pellegrini at Malaga, is expected to be part of the backroom staff.
