Marbella added another home victory to their tally on Sunday after beating Villanovense 2-1, leaving them in seventh place on their group table in Segunda B. Their two goals came early in the game, with Sillero and José Ramón both scoring within the first 15 minutes.

The visitors didn't take long to respond, however, with Xavi Puerto scoring in the 20th minute.

The rest of the match saw the Marbella players fighting to hang onto their lead and prevent Villanovense from scoring the equaliser they came close to.
