Esteban Rolón to complete Malaga transfer imminently

Malaga are set to complete a deal for defensive midfielder Esteban Rolón who will join from Argentinos Juniors in a deal which could rise to 3.5 million euros.

Sheikh Al-Thani is personally leading negotiations for the 21-year-old who is already booked in for a medical and could sign a six-year deal in a matter of days.

Rolón is certainly one for the future and his signing is unlikely to appease head coach Míchel who had agreed a deal with Zenit midfielder Javi García, only to see it vetoed by Sheikh Al-Thani.
