Lifeguard and assisted swimming services are now available on Estepona's beaches

The lifeguard service on Estepona's beaches began on Wednesday and will continue until 15 September, with the lifeguards on duty from midday to 8pm each day.

Susana Aragón, the councillor for Beaches, said there will be eight water-based and three land-based lifeguards on La Rada beach, three on the water and one on land at El Cristo, and two marine and one on land at El Padrón, Arroyo Vaquero and El Saladillo.

The assisted swimming service for people with mobility difficulties is also available on La Rada and El Cristo beaches at the same times.
