Extra staff at ITV vehicle testing centres are already reducing the backlog

Waiting times for vehicle ITV tests are now shortening in the province, as extra inspection staff have been assigned to help clear the backlog.

In just a few days, the delay, which was three months in some areas, has been reduced by half and in some cases appointments are now available in the same week.

The ITV centres have been sending text messages to many vehicle owners with an appointment date earlier than scheduled.
