Plaza Mayor out to woo Christmas shoppers with new and improved stores
Five new-look establishments, opened over the last few weeks, welcome shoppers ahead of the festive period

The Plaza Mayor shopping centre has been preparing for the Christmas shopping boom with the opening of five new-look establishments over the last few weeks.
The shopping and leisure complex has welcomed for the first time: Cities, a shop which specialises in customised T-shirts; Skechers, the American shoe brand, which offers casual and sports footwear; and the Ke'Eat restaurant, located in the Patio Gourmet, which offers Italian food.
The Loft Six fashion firm, meanwhile, has relocated to a larger premises with an expanded range of fashion and accessories, while the Primor health and beauty retailer has reopened having also taken over the premises next door.
Sonae Sierra, the company which owns the shopping centre, says that all the openings have taken place in accordance with the necessary health and safety measures and is confident that they will provide a incentive for shoppers to return now that the mobility restrictions between municipalities in the province have been removed.
