Torre del Mar theatre plans reactivated

Vélez-Málaga town hall has reactivated plans to build a 550-seat theatre in Torre del Mar.

Councillors approved the plans in July and said last week that once they get the "green light" from technical staff, the work will be able to go out to tender.

The eight-million-euro project will be built in the Cerro de Águila area near the town's indoor swimming pool.
