Nerja museum given 'Q for Quality' award

Nerja museum has become the first museum in Andalucía and only the fifth in Spain to be presented with the Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality (ICTE)'s 'Q for Quality' award.

The stamp of approval is given to places that meet strict criteria including customer service, visitor experience and accessibility.

The Nerja cave foundation, which is responsible for the museum, said in a press release, "The clear objective to give visitors the best experience has been recognised by this award."
