Torre del Mar beach bar damaged in strong winds

The Pantai beach bar in Torre del Mar lost its covered terrace when strong winds and huge waves caused a loss of sand to 300 metres of the town's west end beach earlier this week.

The bad weather also caused a palm tree planted on the beach to fall and a three metre drop from the beach to the shore.

The beach has been one of the worst affected by bad weather along the Vélez-Málaga coastline.
