Fruit and veg tattooed in the fight against plastic

Local companies in the Malaga area have been using technologial advances to "tattoo" fruit and vegetables with lasers in order to reduce use of labels and limit plastic packaging.

The mark only affects the skin of the product without damaging the flesh inside.

Local business BioAlgarrabo, specialises in organic produce and has been tattooing its products for a year.
