Pet-friendly taxi hits the streets of Mijas

A taxi specially adapted for pets has taken to the streets of Mijas. The vehicle that is driven by taxi driver Concha Cano has a special area with a harness for pets, which means owners can use it without bringing the animals' customary carrying case. So far Mijas is one of very few places in Spain with this service. Other places are Marbella, Madrid, Barcelona and Zaragoza. The driver said she is delighted as she is an animal lover.
