American College opens new premises in La Alzambra

The American College in Spain officially opened its new Marbella site on Wednesday in the La Alzambra area, near Puerto Banús.

Mayor of Marbella, Ángeles Muñoz, attended the event and toured the facilities, accompanied by director, Melissa Butler and other dignitaries.

Until now the college has been based at the nearby Manolo Santana tennis club.

During the opening, staff described details of the American academic programme they follow in partnership with the University of Nebraska.

The mayor thanked the college for its commitment to Marbella.

The American College in Spain has been on the Costa del Sol for five years.
