RBL Coín celebrates 13 years

Members and guests of the Coín branch of the Royal British Legion got together last week to celebrate the branch's 13th birthday.

To mark the occasion, Jean Merry (left) baked a rich fruit cake and Rosie Mahoney (centre) added the icing.

Chairman Jo Taylor (right) cut the cake for everyone and auctioned a big piece for the Poppy Appeal.

Their next social event is an Abba night on 2 March at La Carolina in Alhaurín El Grande in aid of the Poppy Appeal.
