Fines for stopping on the airport runway

It's best to take those signs seriously when crossing the runway on foot in Gibraltar: the police have now been authorised to fine anyone who stops on the runway up to £250.

The regulations say no stopping is permitted unless for a valid reason.

Fines can also be issued to people who do not use the normal entry and exit points on the runway or who fail to keep within the lanes indicated.
