Some 800 athletes take part in Torre del Mar fun run

Some 800 athletes took part in the Carrera Urbana in Torre del Mar on Sunday.

The 10-kilometre route, which passed through the streets of the town to Caleta de Vélez, was described by many as a faster route than last year.

As a result, records were broken across the board. Among the men, Dani Pérez of Club Málaga came first with a time of 31 minutes and 32 seconds.

Mónica Ballesteros (Rincón Fertilidad Vélez) was the winner among the women with a time of 37 minutes and 40 seconds.
