Electric scooter riders are now being fined for not obeying the rules

The period of grace for those who fail to comply with new regulations regarding electronic scooters is now over and the Royal Gibraltar Police are imposing fines for those who are not abiding by the rules.

So far this week e-scooter riders have been fined £300 each for not wearing a helmet, riding their vehicle through Irish town, not having lights, riding on pavements and ignoring road signs.
