To the relief of many who travel regularly to and from the UK, the Easyjet airline announced earlier this week that it would be resuming flights to Gibraltar from Bristol from Sunday, 2 August. The flights are scheduled to run on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
After shutting down operations during the coronavirus lockdown, Easyjet began to reintroduce some routes from mid-June but these were mainly domestic flights within the UK and one international flight to France.
The airline began offering a restricted service between Gatwick, Manchester and Gibraltar earlier this month. At present, Gibraltar residents who have not visited Spain recently do not have to self-isolate on arrival in UK.
