As part of their Help for Ukraine world tour, the celebrated Ukrainian rock band, Okean Elzy, will stop off for a performance at the Marbella Arena on Sunday 7 August.

The band have earned much praise in both the Ukraine and beyond the borders of their native country for using the tour to raise money to support children affected by the current war that is ravaging the country.

The band's vocalist, Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, said, "It is necessary to remind the world that Ukrainians fight not only for their country, but also to defend democracy, freedom and development in all of Europe."

Renowned for their in-depth lyrics, unique musical style and their on-stage drive and energy, the group have already played to sell-out audiences in Poland, Canada, USA, Australia and Great Britain. The tour will continue in Madrid (8 August) before the group head off to Prague, Germany and Tel Aviv.

The band have been together for more than 20 years and have released a string of hit albums, gaining fans all around the world, including, ironically, in Russia, where they performed on numerous occasions prior to the conflict.
