The search is on for a new head coach at Marbella FC after the sacking of Mehdi Nafti was announced by the club. The former Birmingham City midfielder was given his P45 at a board meeting held by the club on Tuesday morning.
With ten games remaining, Marbella are in a terrible run of form, with no wins in four. What's more, the now ex-coach had three more games of his touchline ban left to serve, which would have taken his season total up to eight.
His inability to integrate the new signings and a breakdown in his relationship with vice president Raffaele Pandalone are cited by Onda Cero Marbella as further reasons for his departure.
Marbella currently sit third in Segunda B IV, eight points adrift of leaders Lorca.
