The Guardia Civil in Spain have demonstrated on social media how their officers are human beings and have feelings, just like everyone else.
When police officers pulled over a driver to take a breathalyser test on the A-31 they discovered there was a young child in a car seat in the back of the vehicle.
While the motorist produced a breath sample the youngster told one of the Guardia Civil that he was hungry and thirsty. The police officer immediately sprang into action and produced a sandwich and bottle of water for the child, who “appreciated” it.
In the social media tweet, the force did not elaborate, however, on the outcome of the drink-drive test.
