King Felipe VI has arrived in Ronda this Wednesday, 19 April.

In what is his first visit to the famous town that spans a deep gorge, the monarch was greeted with cheers and applause by members of the public gathered on Avenida Virgen de la Paz next to the Real Maestranza de Caballería. That is where he will preside over the general meeting of the five royal cavalry schools of Spain (Ronda, Seville, Granada, Valencia and Zaragoza) that is being held in the Ciudad del Tajo on the 450th anniversary of the creation of the institution.
