The Marenostrum Fuengirola music festival will kick off its 2022 edition with a concert by Fito & Fitipaldi and tickets go on sale today, Friday 12 November.
It will be on Saturday, 30 April, from 8.30 pm, and tickets, from 36 euros plus booking fees, will be on sale on the festival's website.
"It starts to reveal what Marenostrum in 2022 will be like because Fito has a new album and a new tour 'Cada vez cadaver'", said the town councillor for Culture, Rodrigo Romero, who added that with the performance of Alejandro Sanz "they are going to be two of the great tours of national artists next year."
"He is an artist who has not toured for a long time and people want to enjoy him in large-scale concerts, which is what we will have again next year," said Romero about Fito & Fitipaldis.
The music venue, which is located on the slope of the Sohail castle, is the spearhead of the town's International Projection Plan and one of its main tourist attractions. "Fuengirola will that weekend, 30 April, become the capital of fun, of culture, not only in the province of Malaga but in Andalucía.
Romero has once again emphasised that Marenostrum Fuengirola "is one of the most spectacular open-air music venues of the moment", recalling that this cultural event was born in 2016, as a commitment by the Fuengirola town council for live music.
In Fuengirola, Fito & Fitipaldis will have Morgan as a guest band who will be presenting their new work 'The River and The Stone' during this tour. That is why the concert is scheduled to begin at 8.30 pm.
