Mijas' Lions Club raises funds and awareness

Passers-by were tested for sugar diabetes at La Cala's Solidarity Market

Members of the Mijas La Cala Lions Club and Diabetes Support Group were out and about raising awareness for their work last week. At the Solidarity Market outside the town hall offices in La Cala passers-by were tested for sugar diabetes.

Meanwhile, books in several languages from the Lions charity shop were on sale at the book fair in Las Lagunas over the weekend.
