Two arrested while transporting hashish

Two people were arrested while trying to land a tonne of hashish on Calaceite beach in Torrox on Tuesday. Guardia Civil officers have seized around twenty bales of the drug, half of which were floating near the shore, having been thrown into the sea by the presumed traffickers who were using a small dinghy. Police are looking for a further three people believed to be involved in the operation.
