Pamplona's big day finally arrives

For residents of the capital of Navarre and a high number of national and international visitors, the long wait for the famous San Fermín festivities is over.

On Thursday a rocket was fired from the town hall balcony in front of thousands of revellers to start the nine days of Pamplonas annual feria.

The first of this years celebrated running of the bulls took place on Friday morning.
