More than 500 season tickets were sold on Tuesday as Malaga CF unexpectedly, and suddenly, put these tickets for the upcoming campaign on sale.
The club announced early that morning, at 8.30am, that the purchasing process was under way. And when the ticket offices at La Rosaleda stadium opened an hour and a half later, a queue quickly formed, which didn't disappear until 8pm when they closed.
With the new online ticket office still not operational, these fans decided to go to La Rosaleda to get their cards immediately (on this occasion, the physical card is included in the price).
SUR sources insist that the majority of those buying on Tuesday weren't renewing their existing season tickets, but rather signing up for new ones, taking advantage of the series of discounts across the board after the side's relegation to the third tier and the reconfiguration of some pricing zones of the stadium.
As for renewals, those who attended the last seven home games (except for the last one against Ibiza) can get a 25 per cent reduction (prices ranging from 112.50 to 397.50 euros), while under 25s get a further 20 per cent off.
