Carolina Marín, among European royalty

Spanish badminton star Carolina Marín became the first player in history to be crowned European champion for a fourth time.

The twice world champion and Olympic gold winner came out on top on home soil in Huelva, seeing off Russian Evgeniya Kossetskaya 21-15 and 21-7 having lost just a single set throughout the whole competition.
