Malaga CF's Duda has become the third legend this week to bring an end to his affiliation with the club as a player.

In a press conference held on Friday, the Portuguese announced his departure, stating that the club had told him that he didn't feature in their plans for next season.

Duda has been part of the Malaga squad for 13 seasons in his professional career and has played more than 300 matches for the Blue and Whites.

The winger, whose first stint at the club came between 2001 and 2006 before rejoining permanently in 2009, also holds the Malaga CF record for most appearances in the first division.

The 36-year-old, who added that he will remain associated with the club "in one way or another", has joined Martín Demichelis and Weligton in announcing his departure this week, although it remains unclear whether Duda will follow his fellow veterans in retiring from the game.
