Fuengirola is encouraging local entrepreneurs and the commercial sector to register on the free business directory, Escaparate Fuengirola, an initiative that is part of the Local Trade Support Plan promoted by the town hall.
The website, to which more than 300 businesses have already registered, aims to give visibility to traders in the municipality by allowing them to publicise their services and products. The platform also offers commercial data, promotions and discount schemes, contact information and links to the establishment’s social media networks.
In addition, participating businesses can include up to five photographs and a small video (no more than 20 seconds) of their establishment and the range of products on offer.
Another important objective of the website is the promotion of employment. The platform has a section that offers information about employment positions available with businesses in the municipality.
The councillor for Commerce, Francisco Javier García Lara, said that registering on the platform is “very simple”.
“This is an initiative that has created a lot of interest and we want to encourage all those establishments that have not yet joined this directory to do so, because it is a free tool that gives visibility to our local businesses,” the councillor said.
Those wishing to take advantage of the service must register on www.escaparatefuengirola.com
