Malaga's Muelle Uno to host new El Zoco Maravilla artisan market

It will be held on the first three Sundays of each month, starting 7 November

Malaga is set to get a new artisan market at Muelle Uno from this Sunday, 7 November.

El Zoco Maravilla will regularly take place on the first three Sundays of each month on the commercial and leisure dockside area of the city’s port.

The new project will replace the previous market and be divided into four sections: Villa Artesana, Villa Shopping, Villa Gourmet and Villa Solidaria, all of them distinguished by different colours to make them easier to identify.

For example, in Villa Shopping (blue stripes) visitors will find fashion and accessories and the customisation of garments, while in Villa Artesana (red stripes) there will be 100 per cent handmade items.

In Villa Gourmet (black stripes) there will be 12 exhibitors from Sabor a Málaga with local food products offering flavours of the province. To complete the setup, Villa Solidaria (beige stripes), will give space to Malaga associations and NGOs that previously participated at the market.
