Malaga’s Regional University Hospital is looking for volunteers who have received the Comirnaty vaccine from the Pfizer-BioNTech lab at least six months ago, in order to study a new vaccine that HIPRA is developing against the coronavirus.

As explained by the hospital in a statement, the volunteers must be over 18 years of age and they will receive a ‘booster’ dose of the new vaccine or a formula already on the market. They will be followed up for up to a year to check their immunity response and if there are any side effects.

The study has been approved by the Ethics Committee of the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and is being evaluated by the Spanish Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AMPS) with the participation of different Spanish hospitals.

People who are interested in taking part in the trial can contact the hospital by phone 690 997 713 or email preventiva.hrmal.sspa@juntadeandalucia.es.
