Club Internacional de Nerja and the Nerja 41 Club both organised parties for members to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III on Saturday 6 May.
Just under 50 people from different nationalities gathered at the Club Internacional de Nerja's premises on Calle San Juan for a buffet lunch and to watch the ceremony on television. One member made a special cake which she decorated in the pattern of the Union flag using fruit.
New Chairman of Nerja's 41 Club, Brian Karet, invited members and their families to his house to watch the event and also enjoy a buffet lunch.
